Improving traction for mounted ploughs
| The latest innovations are always celebrated in style at the Agraria Show in Wels (AT). This year the "Agrar Fox" awards were given to the best innovations and developments in the agricultural branch. Of course Pöttinger had submitted an innovation too: the new Traction System - which improves power to the ground on tractors with mounted ploughs – won the Silver prize. |  |
Improved traction for mounted ploughs through "Traction"
| The "Traction" expansion module makes it possible to transfer weight from the plough to the tractor in the case of mounted ploughs. Thanks to the force applied by the Traction system the rear wheels are permanently loaded for ideal ground hugging. This prevents slipping and harmful smearing of rear wheels. It also enables maximum performance on the part of the tractor. Preload pressure can be adjusted from the tractor seat. Pressure remains unchanged, even at headlands. More effective power transmission saves fuel and improves the environmental and energy situation as a result. |
