Pöttinger at the major international trade fairs

A report on EIMA and AGROSALON and AGROMEK

In previous issues we invited you to visit one of the international trade fairs in autumn. Of course we were there on your behalf. Here we review the EIMA in Italy, the AGROSALON in Russia and the AGROMEK in Denmark.

EIMA International 2008 in Bologna (IT), 12th – 16th November 2008

Following a highly successful event in 2006, EIMA International 2008 presented an even broader spectrum of products with many of the latest innovations. As always, the Pöttinger stand was well received. An attractive presentation of machines and plenty of meetings with customers made a significant contribution. Moreover, several new dealers were found to distribute the products of the Austrian agricultural machine manufacturer throughout Italy.

The Pöttinger team at the stand - Thomas Birkballe, Hans Erik Bonde and Lars Andreasen, as well as Tanja Andlinger, the Area Sales Manager for Dänemark - are pleased at the great success of the show and are looking forward to a promising future for Pöttinger on the Danish market.

AGROSALON in Moskau (RU), 19th – 22th November 2008

In an area covering a total of 40,000 m2 the most important agricultural machinery manufacturers presented their equipment alongside Russian companies. Large and attractive trade fair stands made up the majority of the Russian trade fair. At the same time as the AGROSALON the Russian city of Krasnodar hosted YugAgro, another trade fair for agriculture. The atmosphere at the Pöttinger stand was convivial and visitors had an enjoyable time.

AGROMEK IN HERNING (DK), 22th – 29th November 2008

Without doubt the Agromek in Herning, (DK) is the most important agricultural machinery trade fair in Scandinavia. This was the first year that it was held in November. What is also new is that this trade fair is now held every two years, alternately with the Agritechnica in Hanover.

With 55,000 visitors the Agromek was not as well visited as last year because the tractor manufacturers were not represented. The Pöttinger stand, however, was unique. All the product highlights such as the JUMBO 6000 Combiline, TOP 1252, NOVACAT V10, NOVACAT 356 Alpha Motion ED, SERVO 35 S-5 furrow, SYNKRO 5003 T and TERRADISC 4000 were presented in an area of 368 m².
