Innovation prize at AGRAMA (CH)

At the beginning of December we were at the AGRAMA in Bern (Switzerland). Pöttinger, the No. 1 in Swiss grassland, was represented by numerous highlights extending from the Alpha-motion front mower through to a wide range of loader wagons. This was the first AGRAMA show to present awards for innovative development. The EUROPROFI Dual received a prize in 3rd place.

As is traditional at the AGRAMA show, the Pöttinger stand was virtually overrun by visitors. They were particularly interested in the prize-wining Alpha-motion front mower, the BOSS LT 22 and 28 loader wagons, and the magnificent EUROPROFI 5000 D Dual and JUMBO 7200 Combiline wagons. The BOSS loader wagon is ideal for Swiss farming conditions thanks to its smooth operation and suitability for slopes. The JUMBO Combiline, the combined silage and transport wagon, attracted a lot of attention from Swiss contractors. And the Pöttinger EUROPROFI 5000 loader wagon with discharge system was awarded 3rd place in the innovation competition hosted by the Swiss magazine "Die Grüne". This competition issues awards to Swiss developments of the year.

Tobias Brunner, Technical Director at Pöttinger Schweiz, leapt onto the podium. He received the prize for the pivoting system on the discharge beaters. While hay can be unloaded directly, without the beaters, the beaters and cross conveyor can be engaged for grass or silage. The modification was developed by Paul Mooser from Charmey. As a result it now takes only a minute to switch between beaters and normal unloading.
