High ranking delegation of politicians at the Pöttinger stand

The international agricultural fair in Ried (9 - 13 September), again attracted thousands of people from Austria and abroad to the Innviertel region in Upper Austria. The President of Austria, Heinz Fischer, spoke at the traditional opening event on 09/09/09, a magical date. The Pöttinger stand was on the agenda, of course, as he and other top Austrian politicians made their rounds of the fair after the opening.

The Austrian President was accompanied by Agricultural Minister, Nikolaus Berlakovich, Governor of Upper Austria, Josef Pühringer, Agricultural Councillor, Josef Stockinger and numerous local politicians.

On the second day of the trade fair, the Finance Minister, Josef Pröll, hosted a reception with his successor at the Ministry of Agriculture, Nikolaus Berlakovich.

Of course, the Pöttinger stand didn't just attract politicians; huge crowds of visitors to the fair came to visit the agricultural technology specialist too. The new range of machinery for the forthcoming season impressed farming professionals. The visitors clearly felt at home with our new design of trade fair stand.
