15 years' of success with Pöttinger technology
Perfect work even in demanding conditions
Nečtinská zemědělská a.s. in Nečtiny operates in Western Bohemia near the border with Austria and their land is at an elevation of 600 m. They farm 1,684 ha, 650 ha of which is arable and the remainder grassland.
The public limited company operates on an ecological basis. The farm is geared towards rearing beef cattle without dairy production. The farm has 550 Limousin cows plus a herd of 450 Charollais and Romney Marsh sheep. Crop production is centred on barley, spelt, oats and triticale with clover and a mixture of oats and forage peas also sown into the arable land. They started purchasing Pöttinger machinery in Nečtiny in 1996. That was when they bought their EUROPROFI 2L silage wagon and CAT NOVA 310 T CR disc mower. One year later they bought the second EUROPROFI 2 L and then a larger JUMBO 8000 L wagon. Over time, they added more Pöttinger machinery to the fleet with the EUROTOP 601 and EUROTOP 651 windrowers and then last year two new NOVADISC 305 disc mowers. Thanks to their excellent experience with the machinery from Austria, the farm did more than invest in grassland kit. Since 2007 the farm in Nečtiny have also been using the semi-mounted SERVO 65 NOVA plough and TERRADISC 4000 harrow. From the older machines, this farming business still operates a mechanical seed drill combined with a LION 4000 power harrow.
