SYNKRO stubble cultivators
The new tillage professionals
The end of harvesting means the start of the next one. After concluding a successful harvest, farmers start working on cultivating the soil. Stubble cultivation proves to be an effective counterpart to plant protection in times of rising prices. Soil loosening, conserving moisture, encouraging the germination of volunteers and weeds are all critical in preparing a good seedbed. It is important that cultivating starts as soon as possible after harvesting. The new generation of Pöttinger SYNKRO cultivators are ideal for both shallow and deep stubble cultivation using tractors of 110 hp upwards. These new models offer numerous new technical solutions for even more efficient operation.
Compact lightweights
The new 1030 series cultivators are lighter, shorter and thus more compact than previous models. The higher frame construction provides increased clearance. A new feature is the central depth adjustment at the front of the machine for setting the working depth: easy accessibility as well as enhanced safety and comfort are guaranteed. The rear roller’s weight can be transferred to the cultivator frame to ensure penetration even in dry and hard conditions. The angle of the new headstock is also adjustable to suit different types of tractor more effectively.

The new concave levelling discs are scalloped for improved soil dynamics and are completely maintenance free. The working depth of the levelling discs is regulated by the rear roller - convenient and easy operation guaranteed. The new 'NOVA' trip leg unit is equipped with overload protection (tripping force raised to 500 kg) is also maintenance-free. On models with trip legs, the concave levelling discs are mounted to the frame by rubber mountings.
The tines can be positioned in two positions: either a horizontal position to cut through the whole surface or a more aggressive position to penetrate in hard conditions and loosen the soil right in the top layer. High tillage tool strength is guaranteed by the low level of the tine mountings.
The wide range of rear rollers available is equipped for all operating situations and soil conditions.
The new, trailed SYNKRO
The new trailed SYNKRO stubble cultivators are available with working widths between 4 and 6 metres. The base unit consists of a mounted stubble cultivator and the drawbar and chassis can be retro-fitted. The trailed stubble cultivators feature the same technical innovations and advantages as the mounted machines. A completely new feature, however, is that the trailed models fold into 2 sections. This means that there is no centre section, thus lowering the centre of gravity of the machine during transport. This increases stability during transport while lowering height for transport and storage. The depth adjustment has also been changed: instead of two depth adjustment points per section, there is now only one. Easier accessibility and increased convenience are also the key advantages with this new solution.
