Tine shape

Spread-wing share – works in evenly and thoroughly churns up mulch, manure and clay.
Good crumbling, loosens over the whole area, always cuts right through.
Wide bar point shares improve the mixing through of the soil.
Reversible and can be reset so that it obtains 3 times the normal service life.
Spread-wing shares and chisel bar points have a thickness of 10 mm – longer service life, better economy.
End share faces inwards to guide the flow of soil inwards. Prevents ridges from forming.

Tough tines with angle adjustment:

A choice of 3 positions can be used to optimise penetration and the effect of the cultivator to the soil conditions – no problem on extremely dry, hard soil.
Tines with trip legs have 2 positions.

New generation of stubble cultivators perfect for plain as well as deep soil preparation with important innovations:

The shaft of the cultivator is curved in design. This channels the flow of soil better. The slightly curved leading blades 6 of the cultivator do not roll the ploughed earth onto the surface, but mix the two thoroughly together.

The hollow disc depth is controlled by the rear roller.

Hitching up:

The SYNKRO hitch is also adjustable for inclination. This enables ideal matching to the tractor.

The housing for the top link can be placed in four positions, and the lower link in two. The hitch-angle can also be adjusted to obtain sufficient lifting height. This
enables the cultivator to be adapted to different tractor sizes.

SYNKRO stubble cultivator: depth adjustment made easy
THE technical solution

The new generation of Pöttinger SYNKRO 1030 series cultivators is ideal for both shallow and deep stubble cultivation using tractors of 110 hp upwards, and offers numerous new technical solutions for even more efficient operation.

Central depth adjustment

Different soil types and varying applications (spring/summer/autumn) place a wide range of demands on stubble cultivators in terms of working depth. That's why it is extremely important that the working depth can be adjusted easily and conveniently: depth adjustment is designed ergonomically and is now much more accessible. You no longer need to step over the roller, making things easier as well as safer.
On the new SYNKROs there is an adjustment point at the front on the left and right side on both rigid and folding machines. On conventional equipment there are normally two adjustment points on each folding section.

Central depth adjustment

Thanks to the depth control system featuring pin-in-hole adjustment, the weight of the trailed roller can be transferred to the cultivator frame - particularly useful in dry and hard operating conditions.

An additional advantage with this new solution is that the working depth of all concave discs is adjusted in parallel with the trailed roller. This means that you don't need to re-adjust the discs after changing the depth of the cultivator. Set up once – always ready for action!

For perfect seedbed on frost-wilted crop

The new generation of Pöttinger SYNKRO 1030 series stubble cultivators is ideal for both shallow and deep stubble cultivation and perfect for seedbed preparation in frost-wilted crops. For tractors of 110 hp upwards, the new SYNKROs offer numerous new technical solutions for even more efficient operation.

For a proper seedbed and to comply with various ground water protection guidelines, fields need to be prepared in a special way at the beginning of the year. Here, it doesn't matter whether it is frost-wilted crop (up to medium growth height) or winter rye planted as a catch crop, because with the new 1030 series SYNKROs it is possible to transform a wide range of crop residues into a high quality seedbed early in the season.

These new cultivators have a working width between 3 and 5 metres and are lighter, shorter and thus more compact than previous models. The new frame height provides more clearance for a wider range of applications.

The new trailed SYNKRO stubble cultivators are available with working widths between 4 and 6 metres. The base unit consists of a mounted stubble cultivator. The drawbar and transport chassis can be retro-fitted.

Working to perfection

Thanks to the perfect geometrical arrangement of the share point and wing, shallow cultivation with 100 percent consistent penetration across the whole work area is guaranteed without the points scoring deep grooves. This lays the foundation for subsequent tillage and planting to create optimum germination conditions without having a negative influence on the water infrastructure. The stubble cultivator pass also has the positive effect of mechanically processing the wilted crop. The crop residues are mixed in thanks to the close gang spacing and the additional mixing effect of the serrated, completely maintenance-free concave discs. The concave discs are guided independently of the working depth so they always operate at the depth preset by the trailed roller. Farmers can choose the best trailed roller for their conditions, to either create a pattern of compacted stripes, or completely loosen the soil surface. Pöttinger offers a wide range of trailed rollers for different soil conditions. Cutting ring rollers or cutting packer rollers are used to create stripes, while a loose, open structure is formed using a cage drum or rotopack roller.

Thanks to the implementation of a stubble cultivator early in the season, it is possible to create cost-effective and sustainable tillage while ensuring optimum utilisation of machinery on any size of farm.

The end of harvesting means the start of the next one. After concluding a successful harvest, farmers start working on cultivating the soil. Stubble cultivation proves to be an effective counterpart to plant protection in times of rising prices. Soil loosening, conserving moisture, encouraging the germination of volunteers and weeds are all critical in preparing a good seedbed. It is important that cultivating starts as soon as possible after harvesting. The new generation of Pöttinger SYNKRO cultivators are ideal for both shallow and deep stubble cultivation using tractors of 110 hp upwards. These new models offer numerous new technical solutions for even more efficient operation.

Compact lightweights
The new 1030 series cultivators are lighter, shorter and thus more compact than previous models. The higher frame construction provides increased clearance. A new feature is the central depth adjustment at the front of the machine for setting the working depth: easy accessibility as well as enhanced safety and comfort are guaranteed. The rear roller’s weight can be transferred to the cultivator frame to ensure penetration even in dry and hard conditions. The angle of the new headstock is also adjustable to suit different types of tractor more effectively.

The new concave levelling discs are scalloped for improved soil dynamics and are completely maintenance free. The working depth of the levelling discs is regulated by the rear roller - convenient and easy operation guaranteed. The new 'NOVA' trip leg unit is equipped with overload protection (tripping force raised to 500 kg) is also maintenance-free. On models with trip legs, the concave levelling discs are mounted to the frame by rubber mountings.

The tines can be positioned in two positions: either a horizontal position to cut through the whole surface or a more aggressive position to penetrate in hard conditions and loosen the soil right in the top layer. High tillage tool strength is guaranteed by the low level of the tine mountings.

The wide range of rear rollers available is equipped for all operating situations and soil conditions.

The new, trailed SYNKRO
The new trailed SYNKRO stubble cultivators are available with working widths between 4 and 6 metres. The base unit consists of a mounted stubble cultivator and the drawbar and chassis can be retro-fitted. The trailed stubble cultivators feature the same technical innovations and advantages as the mounted machines. A completely new feature, however, is that the trailed models fold into 2 sections. This means that there is no centre section, thus lowering the centre of gravity of the machine during transport. This increases stability during transport while lowering height for transport and storage. The depth adjustment has also been changed: instead of two depth adjustment points per section, there is now only one. Easier accessibility and increased convenience are also the key advantages with this new solution.
