PÖTTINGER customer runs Cowshed Café

Reinhard Bürger-Grebe, whose farm is near Kassel (GER), breeds Holstein cattle and operates as a contractor. The farm has been in business for three generations and provides its livestock with high quality forage thanks to PÖTTINGER harvesting technology. Their fleet of machines includes a JUMBO 7210 D loader wagon (from 2013), a JUMBO 7210 D COMBILINE multi-purpose loader wagon (from 2015) as well as a NOVACAT X8 ED COLLECTOR mower combination with NOVACAT ALPHA MOTION front mower (from 2015).

"I also use my loader wagon for contract work. My customers insist on the JUMBO loader wagon because the chopping quality is simply unbeatable. Another advantage is that the crop is picked up tidily and unloading works perfectly," says the German farmer.

For the past ten years there has been another special attraction on the farm: the Cowshed Café is a favourite destination for all ages. Since the shed was built at the end of 2006, around 200 cattle enjoy the fresh air, light and inquisitive gazes of the visitors to the café, who can watch the cows being milked while they sip their milkshakes.
