Our products and services offer the highest possible quality because we are leaders in manufacturing methods and technology. "Living agricultural technology" is the basis for all our actions and the success of our customers is our objective. And has been since 1871.
We are specialists in grassland, tillage and seed drill technology. We create advantages for our customers with tractor brand independent mounted, implement-mounted and trailed machinery and the associated services. Farmers, large farms, contractors, machinery rings and associations in the arable and mixed agricultural regions and climate zones of the world - they are all our customers. Our wide range of products enables us to match the specifications of the different life styles and working conditions of our customers, from small mountain farms in the Alps, to huge operations on the plains in Ukraine or Canada. In the areas of agricultural technology in which we specialise, we want to be leaders in offering high quality for the best value for money.

Owners hand over to Management Team
Following Heinz Pöttinger’s move to the supervisory board, two new Managing Directors have been appointed. The experienced team of five Managing Directors are dedicated to ensuring the continuity of the company.

PÖTTINGER: 4 x Silver at the Innovation Award
An independent expert committee awarded four projects with the distinguished Silver medal: The SENSOSAFE animal detection concept, the camera assisted seedbed preparation, the PÖTPRO Guide and the Agrirouter.

Gold Medal for IMPRESS in Poland
At the agricultural trade fair in Polagra Premiery in Poznan (Poland), PÖTTINGER demonstrated its innovative strength: the new IMPRESS won over the jury who presented the round baler with the Gold Medal.

Launch of the new IMPRESS round baler
In 2015, the innovative IMPRESS round baler was presented for the first time. The round baler enhances the farmer's quality of life with safe and convenient operation and their livestock's quality of life with the best forage quality.

Modernisation of company headquarters
The new PÖTTINGER WorkingWORLD at the headquarters in Grieskirchen reflects the strong growth of the company and the ongoing expansion to production. More space, improved logistics and open communication were just some of the objectives of the new layout.

The AEROSEM pneumatic seed drill continues on its course of success by winning the Gold Metal at the Polagra-Premiere agricultural trade fair in Poland. A prize was also awarded at the FIMA show in Zaragoza in Spain.
At the Agraria show in Austrian, the AEROSEM was awarded the Gold Fox Prize for innovation.

The new generation of pneumatic seed drills AEROSEM is awarded Machine of the Year at Agritechnica.
IDS (Intelligent Distributor System) and PCS (Precision Combi Seeding) on the latest generation of AEROSEM seed drill were bestowed with Silver Medals by The DLG (German Agricultural Association).

The JUMBO silage wagon is nominated machine of the year at Agritechnica.
Two DLG (German Agricultural Society) silver medals: for autocut, the fully automatic knife sharpening system and for the Intelligent loader wagon combination, which automatically changes the forward speed of the tractor according to sensory data taken at the loader wagon.

Working together for a successful future
The experienced Management Team shares a commitment and pleasure in driving the development of the company forward through expanding production capacity, digitalisation and ongoing internationalisation to generate sales growth.
As Spokesperson for the Management Team, Gregor Dietachmayr is responsible for Sales and Marketing. Jörg Lechner is responsible for Production at all manufacturing plants - Grieskirchen (AT), Bernburg (DE) and Vodnany (CZ) - and Procurement for the whole company group. Dr. Markus Baldinger is responsible for Research, Development and Digitalisation. Herbert Wagner is responsible for Human Resources & IT, while Wolfgang Moser is responsible for Finance and Quality throughout the company group.
The dynamic new Management Team of the family-owned company is committed to promoting important key values such as transparency, credibility, sustainability and team spirit. Working together constructively is the declared objective to ensure the continuity of the company. These principles and a sound partnership with the company's employees are what makes the culture behind the PÖTTINGER brand.
