Annual Ploughing-Match in Ireland

This years Irish Annual Ploughing championships were held in Ratheniska Co. Laois on the 22^nd to the 24^th September 2015. It is one of Europe’s largest Outdoor Exhibitions and Agricultural Trade show and this year saw the most successful Championships ever with over 281,000 attendees and over 1,500 exhibitors.

Once again PÖTTINGER Ireland had a large display of machines on our stand including the new TOP 1252 rake and the TORRO 6010 COMBILINE along with a comprehensive and well presented parts display by Michael Burke, this generated a large response to how well it looked.

We were delighted this year with the response from our dealers who along with the full PÖTTINGER Ireland team along with some support from Grieskirchen had great representation on the stand. On the 2^nd day David Kelly our new Service manager who is due to start on the 1^st October also attended the stand in the morning and met the full team. Response from the public was encouraging for the coming year.

As always our attention turns to the next big show and support of dealers local shows but in the distance will be next years Ploughing Championships that are to be held in Tullamore Co. Laois may they also be successful.
