PÖTTINGER had a  NOVACAT 301 and the NOVACAT S10 mower combination plus a NOVACAT 3507 T ED running during the field demo.

Attendence was strong throughout the day and especially in the demo field which gave the customers the oppertunity to compare the competition running side by side. As always at this  show the demos  are very structured and quick. The market outlook in Canada remains good for the near future.  

Record attendance at EXPO-CHAMPS in Quebec

EXPO-CHAMPS was held in St.-Liboire, Quebec the last week of august 2016. There as a record attendance of over 14,000 visitors this show is the largest in QC.  PÖTTINGER was present with twelve machines. Main highlight was the LION/FOX D in combination with AEROSEM equipped with IDS/PCS, this machine is shown  for the  first time in North-America and was the main attraction on the both as lot of customers have been anticipating the arrival of this new versatile machine. 

PÖTTINGER was also active in the demo field this year showing  a SERVO 45 S 4 furrow plough emphasizing on our wide range of tillage products.

Overall a very successful show, with a motivated team and great partnership involved in the making.

Ohio Farm Science Show:

Ohio Farm Science Show is the largest show in Ohio at the Ohio University research institute and was held end of September. 

 The show was very good this year  for POETTINGER US with attendance up from last year on the first day already. Interest was despite the market situation very good.

POETTINGER US also like every year participated in the field demo and ran a LION 3001 and 6001 T TERRADISC in the field demos.  The LION was a very good crowd magnet at the field demos. 

First time demo of TERRASEM C6 in New York USA: 

It arrived in July sadly to late for spring seeding but in time to participate at a few shows The machine was shown at the NY Farm show in Seneca Falls in the middle of  August. 

After that it was taken to some prospective farmers in the area to seed after the winter wheat came off. Customers were very impressed by the job it does and ease of operation. What really impressed them was the fast germination of the plants in the first 10 day which all relates to the seedbed preparation and precise seed-depth control of which the Terrasem is know for.
