HRH Princess Royal inspected Pöttinger
Another medal for autocut, the automatic knife sharpening system
Pöttinger has been awarded a Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland's Silver Medal award for the autocut, the automatic knife sharpening system on the loader wagon. This was presented to Pöttinger at the Royal Highland Show on 21st June at Ingliston, Edinburgh. Shaun Groom, the General Manager of Pöttinger UK entered the system into the Technical Innovation category back in March. This will be the third silver medal (NOVACAT alpha-motion & ISOBUS) and joins the Gold Medal Pöttinger was awarded in the UK last year for the new generation NOVACAT alpha-motion. The judges contacted three users of the system and taking independent feedback from them.
At the Pöttinger stand, we were honoured to receive HRH Princess Royal at this years Royal Highland Show to inspect the award winning autocut system. On display in the Technical Innovations award area was a TORRO 5100 L fitted with autocut. Shaun Groom was on hand at the machine to meet her highness and explain the benefits of the autocut system that won a Silver Medal in the Technical Innovation awards this year.
Her royal highness was very interested in the labour saving device and in particular the nutritional benefits that the Pöttinger loader wagon system can offer to British farmers.
