Fight wear now!

High quality spare parts and wear parts ideally matched to your machinery

The wear that occurs during the operation of farm machinery depends on many factors. In soil preparation, wear plays a central role. The characteristics of the soil, working speed and working depth determine the rate of wear to a large extent. In terms of soil characteristics, the proportion of minerals (e.g. quartz sand), the compaction and the water content are all decisive. The higher the mineral content of the soil, for example, the higher the rate of wear. That is because mineral particles have a very abrasive effect on the tillage tools.

Fight wear now!

As the effects of wear increase, so does the change in geometry of the tillage equipment. These changes not only effect the working depth, but also the cutting angle and the penetration of the implement. Poorer working quality and increased power requirement plus higher diesel consumption are the result. There are loads of reasons why we need to fight wear now! And that is exactly what we are doing at PÖTTINGER.

Only the original is ideally matched to your machinery

Durability and top performance - characteristics that PÖTTINGER is committed to delivering.  Using the highest quality spare parts and wear parts is a central criterion. That is why we manufacture PÖTTINGER spare parts and wear parts from the highest quality materials. We source our raw materials exclusively from central Europe and Scandinavia. We ideally match each individual spare part and wear part to your machinery's overall system. This means that different soil and operating conditions often need to be taken into consideration. We listen to our customers and offer three different lines of wear parts so that everybody can choose the right package.

In the next few issues of the Newsletter, we will be presenting our range of spare parts and replacement wear parts as well as talking you through our quality manufacturing processes.
