Maximum flexibility

×

The AMICO front hopper equipped with ISOBUS in combination with the INTELLIGENT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM distribution head ticks all the boxes in terms of metering accuracy. It is possible to open up to two application maps. In addition to freely selectable tramline switching, part-width switching of the machine is also possible. This means that the resources used are applied at site-specific flowrates and are flexibly adapted to the task in hand.

For optimum reliability and maximum flexibility, the row widths can be extended using distribution head inserts, regardless of the IDS equipment level of the distribution head, and even if the row spacings are irregular. The conveniently interchangeable inserts are available in different row widths and ensure gentle metering so that germination capacity is maintained and seed damage is reduced.

Everything under control

Accurate drilling is essential for an optimal crop and high yields at harvest time. The reliable, universal metering unit has a wide range of speeds and enables precise adjustments to be made to the seed application rate. Additional sensors on the seed flap and metering shaft reliably keep track of the drilling process.

Seed flow sensors on the distribution head provide full control over each seed coulter. At the same time, level sensors provide real-time information about the remaining quantity of seed material in the hopper. The hydraulic coulter pressure is displayed as a percentage on the terminal and allows you to react to changing conditions in just a few seconds. That is how you keep everything under control.

Adapted to meet flexible requirements

The simultaneous application of several components during drilling has become increasingly standard in recent years. The main focus is on providing plants with nutrients from the germination stage onwards. Another advantage is the sowing of cover crops and the combination of different seed qualities. These can be metered in the required ratio without risk of bridging.

Due to an increase in metering flowrates, combined with a long conveying path from the front of the tractor and higher driving speeds, PÖTTINGER now uses a pressurised hopper system on front hoppers.

The range of volumes and the choice of one or two metering units fulfil every requirement in the field.

A wide range of applications

"We opted for the AEROSEM F for several reasons. Firstly, the pressurised hopper with dual metering gives us the flexibility we need in wet years to sow oil seed rape and deposite slug pellets at the same time. And secondly, the coulter rail with DUAL DISC coulters offers the reliability of precision drilling, even if there are still maize residues on the soil surface. The distribution head is also a major advantage for us. We have sown wheat, oil seed rape and ryegrass so far, and the seed emergence is very good, everything positive so far."
