Coulter rail

×

The coulter rail on the AEROSEM F is available with working widths between 3 m and 6 m. The 3 m version is rigid, the other working widths are folding. The coulter rail is mounted directly behind the rear roller, the distribution head is permanently connected to the coulter rail and attachment and removal are done in a few simple steps.

Short, compact design

  • Optimised centre of gravity with the coulter rail mounted directly behind rear roller

  • Shortened design with better centre of gravity with the coulter rail located between the mounting points of the coulters

  • Each frame section is fitted using two coupling points with an additional lock pin

Placement depth adjustment

  • Central adjustment of the seed depth at the outer ends of the two coulter rails using the ratchet wrench provided.

  • Optimum seed placement because the coulter rail is directly coupled to the linkage guided rear roller, so there is no need to change the seed placement depth when changing the working depth of the power harrow or compact combination.

Coulter pressure adjustment

  • The coulter pressure can be adjusted separately on each frame section using a convenient ratchet wrench.

  • Coulter pressure of up to 60 kg per seed coulter is identical on every coulter because the coulter arms are all the same length regardless of the offset.

  • Hydraulic coulter pressure adjustment is available as an option with the coulter pressure range adjustable via bolts.

  • Seed coulters are pre-tensioned using maintenance-free rubber elements as reliable coulter arm bearings

Uncoupling the coulter rail

  • User-friendly coupling of the coulter rail with catch hooks and pins on folding models and 4-point mounting on rigid models.

  • The coulter rail and distributor head can be uncoupled to increase machine utilisation within a very short time without the need for tools.

  • The coulter rail can be stowed using the parking stands provided. The lighting units can be bolted onto the seedbed preparation machines when it is used on its own.
