With the COLLECTOR you can mow, condition and swath in just one pass. You save time and money and reduce your weather risk.
Mowers equipped with the COLLECTOR offer flexible swath merging with the conditioner and cross conveyor belts. This proven system stands out especially for its loose and airy swath placement.
The COLLECTOR is available for the NOVACAT V 10000 ED / RC.
Perfect ground tracking despite higher weight
Thanks to the hydraulic weight alleviation of the mower units on the NOVACAT V 10000, the pressure the cutter bar exerts on the ground can be easily adjusted. This ensures excellent ground tracking despite the higher weight due to the belt unit.
Maximum output
Even with large volumes of forage, your mower works reliably thanks to the large conditioner hood and the 980 mm wide belt. You are guaranteed neat swath placement at maximum output.
Driveline
On the NOVACAT V 10000 the cross conveyor belts are driven by the tractor’s hydraulics.
With the standard SELECT unit, the operating speed can be set using the oil flowrate function on the tractor remote and adjusted using the control terminal.
On machines with the Profiline comfort control system, oil is supplied via the load sensing system. You can adjust the speed electronically using the control terminal. An automatic mode can also be activated to control this.
Optional accelerator rollers ensure particularly narrow swath placement.
Optimum swath placement
A mechanically height-adjustable acceleration roller is available as an option for the NOVACAT V 10000 ED / RC. This lets you adjust the swath width.
Compact swaths formed by running both COLLECTOR belts to one side are possible with the optional swath rake.
Easy to remove
It only takes a few minutes to remove the conveyor belts and park them on an optional chassis.
It's your choice ...
Depending on how you want to place the swath, you can hydraulically activate or deactivate the two swath merging units separately from the tractor seat.
Wide spread placement
For intensive drying of the mown material, both cross-conveyor system units are deactivated. This results in a wide blanket of forage.
On the NOVACAT V 10000 ED / RC COLLECTOR models, with the swath doors on the conditioner set close together, three separate compact swaths can also be deposited.
Swath formation
The swath is placed so that you can pick up and transport your forage away directly after mowing.
You save time and money. This means that on hot summer days, for example, you can ensure that the crop does not dry too fast before you can harvest it.
Intelligent swath placement
With the cross conveyor system activated on one side you can mow around 19 m in two lanes, but place the two swaths within approx. 12 m.
The perfect follow-up implement is a four-rotor centre-swath rake. In this way you can significantly reduce the number of passes and conserve the soil as well as your forage. You also save valuable time and fuel.
Automatic swath placement
Automatic swath placement makes mowing and merging easier. The cross conveyor units on the NOVACAT V 10000 COLLECTOR switch on and off automatically depending on which lane is chosen for the swath.
The system is particularly easy to use, especially for intelligent swath merging when alternate lanes are skipped. The repetitive task of changing the direction of the conveyor system is handled automatically.
PÖTTINGER CONNECT telemetry unit
With the optional telemetry unit, machine data and service info, together with GPS position and operating time, can be transmitted to farm management systems.
When used on NOVACAT V 10000 mowers with swath merging and NOVACAT V 9200 CF mowers, the precise position of the swath can be displayed and evaluated in the HARVEST ASSIST app.
The drivers with the follow-up harvesting equipment can then differentiate between finished swaths and wide-spread forage by checking the app on their phones.
