Mowers with a centre-mounted drawbar can be pivoted hydraulically to the left or right.
Flexible guidance
These mowers stand out due to their versatile capabilities. It means that the mower unit can be guided flexibly, which is a major advantage if the forage is lying flat, for example.

On centre-mounted drawbar versions the driveline passes through a central swivel gearbox that is steered by a track rod. This ensures a straight drive train so that PTO shafts are not at an angle during operation. The side gearbox then splits the input drive between the cutter bar and the conditioner.
