Fully moveable portal frame

Thanks to the low-slung cantilever system, the cutter bar glides smoothly over bumps and ridges. The linkage bars sloping up to the cutter bar provide excellent adaptation to ground contours. A top link guides the top of the mower unit to complete the four-point suspension system.

Adjustable countersprings

Two large suspension springs guarantee the cutter bar applies hardly any pressure to the ground. The weight alleviation can be easily adjusted by hand using a turnbuckle, without the need for tools.

Easy cutting height adjustment

The cutting height is easily adjusted using a turnbuckle. An integrated cutting height indicator makes it even easier to adjust.

For maximum operating convenience, this can also be done hydraulically from the tractor seat. A clear visible scale shows the set working height.

Sufficient lifting height

With a lifting height of over 50 cm, there is no risk of damaging swaths at the headland.

The lifting mechanism is operated by two hydraulic cylinders. Parallel lifting/lowering is enabled by feeding oil from one hydraulic cylinder to the cylinder on the opposite side. This ensures the portal frame is lifted uniformly without the need for a flow splitter.
