Swath merging with a conditioner

With the COLLECTOR you can mow, condition and swath in just one pass. You save time and money and reduce your weather risk.

Mowers equipped with the COLLECTOR offer flexible swath merging with the conditioner and cross conveyor belts. This proven system stands out especially for its loose and airy swath placement.

The COLLECTOR is available for the NOVACAT 3100 S ED, 3100 C ED and 3500 C ED.

Maximum output

The large, asymmetrical conditioner hood delivers a constant flow of forage towards the cross conveyor belt. Special conditioner tines with paddles further optimise material flow.

Combined with the inclined conveyor belt, which is 980 mm wide, huge volumes of forage can be handled. Bars on the conveyor belt ensure that even bulky crops are transported reliably to the swath.

Hydraulic swath door adjustment

The standard hydraulic swath door adjustment on models with a centre drawbar makes them really easy to operate. When positioned wide, they ensure an unobstructed flow of forage onto the cross conveyor belt. If the conveyor belt is switched off, the swath doors can easily be moved into a narrow position from the tractor seat. This produces neat and tidy compact swaths.

Driveline

The cross conveyor belt is driven by the tractor's hydraulics. The speed is determined by the oil flow rate set at the tractor spool valve or by a manually adjustable flow rate control valve. The oil requirement is approximately 20 l/min, depending on the speed of the conveyor belt.

BASIC CONTROL

Electric belt speed adjustment is available as an option using the BASIC CONTROL terminal.

Flexible swath placement

You have the choice when it comes to swath placement. Depending on your requirements, you can pivot the cross conveyor belt up and down hydraulically conveniently from the tractor seat. The belt switches off automatically when it is folded upwards.

Accelerator roller

An accelerator roller is available as an option to ensure perfectly formed swaths, even on models with wider working widths. The height can be adjusted mechanically.
