Royal Welsh Agricultural Society demonstration event
Wide range of equipment demonstrated at the Rhug Estate (Corwen, Denbigshire)
Hosting this year's Royal Welsh Agricultural Society demonstration event was the Rhug Estate, Corwen, Denbighshire, North Wales - the home of Lord Newborough - who also officially opened the event. This organic (bio) farming estate operates its own successful farm shop, cafe and mineral water business set in this picturesque part of Wales.
Attracting more than 3,000 visitors there was a total demonstration area of 35 Ha with most major manufacturers in attendance. On the PÖTTINGER plot in partnership with our local dealer Emyr Evans we demonstrated wide range of equipment. Demonstrating both RC & ED models of NOVACAT we were able to expertly demonstrate to the interested crowds the real difference in conditioning technologies. As ever the large HIT 12.14 T tedder really wowed the crowds and sporting both Austrian & Welsh flags high above the tractor.
Harvesting was handled by both a MEX 6 Grass harvester still very popular in this part of Wales and a EUROPROFI 5010 L COMBILINE which drew a very large crowd when local territory manager Barry Humphreys presented the machine.
