An electric valve automatically switches on two additional nozzles to increase the coverage area and continuously apply a higher rate of inoculant solution to the flow of forage. Because the application rate can be varied in this way, homogeneous covering with silage additive is guaranteed even with higher-density swaths and faster driving speeds.
