The TOP VT 6520 C has a four-wheel chassis with tandem axles as standard. This floats perfectly over bumps in the ground.

Thanks to the wide axles, the rake is stable on the ground. The large 16 x 6.5-8 flotation tyres ensure smooth running and protect the sward.


Tandem axles

Tandem axles halve the effect that any bumps in the ground transmit to the rotor units. This ensures smooth running even at high speeds.

Because the wheels are mounted using offset bolts on the outer tandem axle, the inclination of the rotor can be adjusted at right angles to the direction of travel.


Adjusting raking height

The raking height of the TOP rotary rakes can be set either using a hand crank allowing an upright posture, or electro-hydraulically from the cab. A height indicator scale makes it easy to ensure that the rotors are the same height on models with multiple rotors.

Combined setting of the rotor chassis and MULTITAST wheel is available as an option on some models.
