PÖTTINGER dealer participated at a charity event in Mount Melleray, Ireland
The event was held in aid of Mental Health and Suicide Awareness
Saturday 6th June 2015 saw one of Poettinger Irelands dealers from County Tipperary Suirway Farm Machinery participate in a charity event in aid of Mental Health and Suicide Awareness.
The event was held at Mount Melleray Abbey, Cappoquin, Co. Waterford a wonderfully peaceful location with fantastic views. The Abbey and monastery was founded on 30th May 1832 by a colony of Irish and English Monks and to this day is still inhabited by the Monks and attracts a lot of visitors.
Thankfully, the weather remained dry and 75 acres of silage was cut the old fashioned way using vintage machinery, single chop, double chop and precision chop harvesters.
Suirway Farm Machinery with assistance from Poettinger Ireland demonstrated the full range of Poettinger mowers, tedders, rakes, and loader wagons.
The day was a great success with a lot of interest shown and all for a very worthwhile cause. Congratulations go to Suirway Farm Machinery for their efforts with a great deal of work, care and attention having been put in.
