BULAGRO is the successful Pöttinger partner in Bulgaria. BULAGRO’s traditional filed demonstrations’ tour of agricultural machinery this year covered the impressive nine regions of Bulgaria - Silistra, Dobrich, Montana, Pleven, Ruse, Stara Zagora, Bourgas, Sofia and Karlovo. Farmers across the country saw in action high quality machines from Pöttinger that meet all their requirements and specific needs.

The main focus of the demonstrations was the new six-meter disc harrow of Pöttinger - TERRADISC 6001T, which was shown for the first time in the country after its premiere in all international exhibitions. Farmers were impressed with the harrow’s improved structure, allowing much more aggressive tillage.

Among the top proposals of BULAGRO for the autumn sowing campaign was the universal seed drill TERRASEM C6, as well as the VITASEM, suitable for smaller farms. During the largest demonstration, which was held in the region of Pleven, the guests were able to observe in action a full green line, including mowing, tedding and windrowing with machines from Pöttinger. The most valuable assessment of the products gave the farmers themselves, many of whom shared their satisfaction with the performance of the Pöttinger machines, demonstrated on the field:

- “My farm is fully equipped with Pöttinger machines - I have a seed drill TERRASEM, a disc harrow TERRADISC and two SERVO ploughs, all of which I am very pleased with. Last year the land was very dry and no one could enter the filed to disc, but with TERRADISC I worked effortlessly. The harrow works with the impressive 12-15 km/h and is extremely productive. The seed drill is incredibly accurate, both in depth and in distance between the seeds in a row.” – Yordan Momchev, handles 1,100 ha of land near Dobrich.

- “We have a SERVO 45 plough and we have been working with it for two seasons without any problems. The disc harrow which we saw during the demonstration also impressed us and will probably be our next investment.
