Short headstock

ALPINHIT 4.4 H

The rigid headstock on the ALPINHIT 4.4 H brings the machine up close to the twin axle mower. This significantly improves performance on slopes.

ALPINHIT 4.4 N

The ALPINHIT 4.4 N features a short three-point pivoting headstock. Consequently, the centre of gravity is moved closer to the tractor. The pivoting headstock with a heart-shaped pivot pin brings the machine into the centre position when it is raised. The vertical point of rotation reliably prevents under-running when working downhill.

  • A slotted hole enables operation with a MULTITAST jockey wheel and a rigid top link.

  • New: weight alleviation on the implement for more weight on the tractor's rear axle.

  • The transport interlock enhances safety on the road.

  • A practical PTO shaft holder makes hitching and unhitching a great deal easier.

Ground tracking and forage protection are the key objectives of ALPINHIT rotary tedders.

An optional jockey wheel on the pivoting headstock tracks the ground immediately in front of the tine path and responds to each ground undulation. The result: Clean forage, lower raw ash content and improved livestock health. The sward is protected and the tines last much longer.

  • Height is adjusted without the need for tools.

  • This ensures that the working depth is always set correctly.

For a perfect spread pattern.

The rotors on the ALPINHIT 4.4 have a diameter of 1.44 m and five tine arms per rotor. Offset tine lengths pick up the forage uniformly and contribute significantly to improved tedding quality. Equipped with strong Super C quality tines which can be angled by rotating the mounting through 180°. As a result the cleanest possible forage is guaranteed.

The rotors can be moved into three positions. You can adapt the rotors to the forage conditions easily. A uniform and tidy spread pattern is ensured as a result.

Compact and safe during transport

Transport position
Transport position

The rotors are folded upwards by hand, or alternatively using an optional hydraulic system. Two interlock positions. In the transport position, the rotors can be rotated inwards to ensure safe transport and space-saving parking.

  • The optional hydraulic rotor raising system provides convenient operation from the tractor seat.

  • Warning signs and road lights are optional.

  • Transport width 2.51 m.
