The largest agricultural technology show in Russia - AGROSALON - was held this year from 7 to 10 October in Moscow. Every two years, AGROSALON offers Russian farmers and representatives of agricultural holdings the unique opportunity of meeting with the world's leading providers of technology in the industry. Decision makers from politics and commerce also visited the show again this year to network with representatives of the agriculture industry, one of Russia's most important economic sectors.

PÖTTINGER's aim at AGROSALON 2014 was to increase its recognition factor on the Russian market. With a subsidiary just outside Moscow, the Austrian agricultural machinery manufacturer is well set for facing the challenges in the world's largest country. The Russian Federation covers an area of more than 17 million square kilometres, 13 % of which is farmland, totalling a massive 219 million hectares.
