Royal Highland Show - 23rd - 26th June
Ingliston, Scottland
2016 saw the staging of the 176th Royal Highland Show at Ingliston on the outskirts of Edinburgh. The four day event regularly attracts in excess of 200,000 visitors and if this years crowds were anything to go by the 2016 show was set for a similar attendance. Despite the intermittent heavy rain visitors attended from across Scotland & the North of England. We spoke and met with many existing PÖTTINGER customers who we were pleased to hear were working successfully with their PÖTTINGER machines.
On display was a wide range of PÖTTINGER equipment with the new TORRO 6010L COMBILINE loader wagon taking pride of place on the stand. Pottinger loader wagons enjoy the position of the number 1 loader wagon across Scotland and the new TORRO model certainly attracted a lot of interest as a result. For those requiring equipment for cultivation the SERVO 45S PLUS NOVA 5F plough equipped with TRACTION CONTROL proved an interesting talking point. In particular visitors were intrigued to hear about the fuel and time saving benefits of this unique system.
After four very busy days we have returned to the office with some orders secured for new PÖTTINGER machines and a list of sales enquiries to follow up on.
