HARVEST ASSIST app – PÖTTINGER optimises forage harvesting
The app HARVEST ASSIST by PÖTTINGER optimises the sequences between mower, tedder, rake, merger and the loader wagon or round baler so that delivery peaks at the clamp are avoided. The result is a mass flow-dependent field processing sequence for dynamic harvesting.

PÖTTINGER opens second phase of plant in St. Georgen, AT
On 14 April 2023, the second hall was officially opened at the new rake and baler plant in St. Georgen near Grieskirchen (AT). Following almost 1.5 years of construction PÖTTINGER has started up a modern cathodic dip priming (CDP) and powder coating line in this second expansion phase.

30th loader wagon for German contractor
Brothers Heinz and Günter Dierks jointly run a contractors in northern Germany that operates on over 80 farms in the grassland sector. They are convinced of PÖTTINGER quality, and just recently added six more of the proven EUROPROFI COMBILINE multi-purpose wagons with loading rotors to their fleet. That brings the number of loader wagons they have invested in from Austria to a grand total of 30.

New video: Flexible in operation with ROTOCARE rotary hoes
Successful mechanical weed control depends on several factors. The crop, weeds, soil, weather, and the equipment parameters all play an important role. The row-independent rotary hoe stars sweep weeds in the white thread, germination and 1-leaf stage out of the soil and deposit them on the surface.

1.5 years ago PÖTTINGER started the second base of plant in St. Georgen near Grieskirchen (AT). A modern cathodic dip priming (CDP) and powder coating line is now located there. In the time-lapse video, you can follow the construction of the new hall in detail.

AGRILAND video: PÖTTINGER machines supporting a family farm in Ireland
Tomás Codd runs a mixed dairy and arable farm with his wife, Hilary, and three sons in Co. Wexford, Ireland. He needed a range of machinery in order to cultivate and harvest his vast range of crops and to also produce silage for his dairy cows. He made the switch to PÖTTINGER five years ago and said that the decision gives him “incredible control” over the quality of crops that the farm can produce.
