PÖTTINGER Issue 214, 21 of October 2026

Hi,

Autumn calls for another all-out effort! Following a challenging year – one that has been very dry in many places – there is still plenty to do in the fields. Whilst soil preparation and preparations for the next season are underway, the final cut is still due in many grassland areas. Autumn is therefore anything but a quiet time for agriculture – it demands a full commitment, good planning and reliable machinery. There’s plenty of new developments to discover at PÖTTINGER too: we’re introducing the new cultivators in the SYNKRO range, showcasing the possibilities offered by digital agricultural technology, and looking back on a successful 2025/2026 financial year with increased turnover. New videos on modern agricultural technology provide further exciting insights. We hope you enjoy reading this issue and wish you a successful autumn!

New SYNKRO cultivators from PÖTTINGER
A multitude of new and proven features as well as numerous customisation options make the new SYNKRO stubble cultivator a true all-rounder in conservation tillage. The linkage-mounted, 2-gang (rigid, with a working width of 2.5 m or 3 m) and 3-gang (rigid or folding, 3 m to 5 m) SYNKRO universal cultivators are excellent at stubble cultivation, primary tillage in autumn, seedbed preparation for mulch drilling, and terminating cover crops. The rigid variants are now also available with depth wheels as an option. These ensure a consistent working depth, particularly on rough ground and undulating fields, which is perfect for preparing the soil ahead of the seed drill.

Video: Paul Trebel shares his experience using FLOWTAST
Deep ruts, holes, and furrows in the ground are difficult for any rake to handle. But not for a rake fitted with a FLOWTAST glide bar. A glide bar in place of the wheel chassis provides a large area of contact. The rotor unit glides over the bumpy surface. Paul Trebel explains in this video how he first came across FLOWTAST and why ultimately he decided to go for a rake with a glide bar.
