Video: World Milk Day 2025
Urs Wegmann is one of two farmers that supply milk to Wyland Chäsi Henggart. His farm is located in the north of Switzerland in the canton of Zurich. The farm has around 70 German Black Pied cows that produce an average yield of 10,500 litres. As is often the case in this region, the cattle can also graze in a pasture next to the barn. Every morning, he brings the fresh milk directly to the cheese dairy in the next village. There, they make various types of raclette and other speciality cheeses. The owner and master cheesemaker is very impressed by the quality of the milk delivered. "The quality of the milk that our suppliers provide is the very best. We have the perfect starting materials for producing the best cheese" he says.

Video: SERVO 2000 hitch-mounted reversible plough – highlights
As the smallest in the PÖTTINGER hitch-mounted plough range, the SERVO 2000 with 3 or 4 furrows is specially designed for light tractors up to 130 hp. What is impressive about this series is their compact design and weight-optimised construction. The simple and intuitive SERVOMATIC control centre features the same concept as on the larger plough series. PLUS hydraulic furrow width adjustment guarantees the flexibility of the SERVO 2000 P during operation. The optional NOVA hydraulic stone protection system ensures uninterrupted ploughing on areas with a high stone content. The proven mouldboards and skimmers ensure perfect working results. This provides a sound basis for the next planting process.

Video: NOVACAT ED tine conditioner, RC roller conditioner - walkaround
The conditioner has the job of breaking up the waxy layer of the mown crop so that it dries more quickly and can be conserved earlier. For the best working results, a conditioner must be chosen that suits the crop to be mown. For crop with high grass content, for example, the ED tine-type conditioner achieves good results. It hits the stalks in the crop. For especially leafy forage, the RC roller conditioner is recommended. This conditioner crimps the crop.
