Here in the UK our most Northerly Pottinger dealer recently celebrated 25 years in business. Linklater Engineering is the official Massey Ferguson and Pottinger dealer for the Orkney & Shetland Islands. Having held the Pottinger franchise for many of its 25 years Sandy Linklater has established an excellent market share across the islands with Pottinger equipment. Traditionally the islands have been a strong market for the Pottinger MEX forage harvesters, in recent years though an increasing number of Pottinger loader wagons have been sold into the area.

Based in Steness on Orkney the team at Linklater Engineering supports farmers and contractors across this group of islands located to the North of the Scottish mainland in the North Sea.
To celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary and newly opened premises extension the company held an open day and celebration recently.
This well attended event saw many visitors travelling from some of the outlying islands by ferry to attend. Interest in Pottinger grassland machinery was high and many sales enquiries were taken. However the highlight of the day was the successful retail sale of a Europrofi 4500L equipped with steering axle to an Orcadian farmer.
