A Finnish farmer is national snowcross champion
The Polvinen family runs a dairy farm in the Kainuu region of eastern Finland
Esa and his twenty-year-old son Pietu not only share a passion for farming: they are also successful snowcross riders. In fact, Esa Polvinen is six-time national champion, and between them the pair have amassed a total of 90 trophies.
Esa Polvinen also shows great dedication to his dairy farm with its 140 head of cattle and milk production of 9,000 kg per cow and year. On his 210 hectares, he harvests grass and cereal crops, and for this he needs high-performance machines: his fleet includes a JUMBO 10010 L loading wagon, a NOVACAT X8 mower combination with a NOVACAT 351 ED front-mounted mower. This year he only needed four days for the first cut because he can mow ten hectares an hour with his mower.
In recent years, the Finnish farmer has tested numerous comparable machines by other manufacturers, but PÖTTINGER impressed him most with the machines' top performance, reliability and high resale value. When he needed his first replacement part, it was delivered to his door in less than twenty hours. That is why Eva Polvinen feels that he is in the best of hands when it comes to customer service and spare part delivery.
