PÖTTINGER Landtechnik GmbH based in Grieskirchen (Upper Austria), concludes financial year 2025/26 (ending 31 July 2026) with a satisfactory overall result. In the face of headwinds in a challenging economic environment, ongoing cost pressures in farming operations, and volatile agricultural markets, PÖTTINGER once again managed to grow revenue. Following a record year in 2022/23, with revenues of EUR 641 million, and a subsequent downturn (EUR 461 million in 2024/25), the trend is now on the way up again. In financial year 2025/26 revenues amounted to EUR 485 million, which represents an increase of 5 percent. Developments in the grassland technology division are pleasing. Market shares remain at a high level and have even increased in the haymaking machines and loader wagon sectors.

With an export ratio that has been at a steady 90 percent for many years, France and Germany are among the most important export markets. Independently of this, above-average growth was achieved year on year in Austria, the company's all-important domestic market.

New machinery and software for success in farming

As an innovative agricultural machinery company, PÖTTINGER regularly launches new products that help farms operate more efficiently and with more success. In 2026, Pöttinger released a major update to the popular HARVEST ASSIST app. The latest 4.0 version of the software displays the location of machines, organises processes, tracks harvest progress, and provides navigation guidance, all of which make forage harvesting even more cost effective. With HARVEST ASSIST 4.0, PÖTTINGER is clearly strengthening its position as a leader in digital agricultural technology.

The new machines launched include the AEROSEM M implement-mounted seed drill, the AEROSEM F seed drill with a front hopper, and the SYNKRO universal cultivator. PÖTTINGER has successfully completed the test phase for the PURO H 3000, PÖTTINGERs precision planter that is now ready to be launched on the market soon.

In the grassland technology division, the automatic swath placement system for the NOVACAT V mower and the innovative LIQUIDO F silage additive tank have attracted a great deal of attention. And there are two new additions to the loader wagon range: The PROFI 5000 with a powerful, smooth-running loading rotor, and the BOSS 5000 featuring a tine conveyor loading system.

Appreciative cooperation within an international team

The number of employees remains stable. Genuine appreciation, a meaningful job, and mutual respect; these are the factors that unite our 2,100 employees (down 1 per cent on the previous year), who represent 37 different nationalities. 1,173 work in Austria, around 407 in Czechia, 208 in Germany, 76 in Italy, and the remaining 217 work at PÖTTINGER subsidiaries around the world. PÖTTINGER manufactures modern, intelligent agricultural machines at five locations and makes a significant contribution to securing food for the world’s population. Two manufacturing plants are located in Austria (Grieskirchen and St. Georgen bei Grieskirchen), one is in Germany (Bernburg), one is in Czechia (Vodňany), and one is in Italy (San Vito al Tagliamento). Global distribution is handled by agricultural machinery dealers. The company's employees, dealership partners, and suppliers work together as a team to achieve shared success.

With its international parts logistics centre in Taufkirchen (Upper Austria) and 17 regional warehouses across Europe, America, Asia and Australia, PÖTTINGER ensures a fast and reliable supply of parts over the longer term around the globe, which is an important success factor for farmers. The expansion of the global parts logistics centre in Taufkirchen will ensure this level of supply continues into the future. Construction work began in March 2026 and is due for completion by December 2026. An additional 3,000 sqm of floor space will increase warehouse capacity, while a fourth aisle in the automated small parts warehouse will create another 10,000 storage spaces. The pallet warehouse is also being expanded: In future, there will be 17 rows instead of ten.

Despite ongoing geopolitical challenges, Gregor Dietachmayr, Speaker of the Executive Board, had an optimistic outlook for the future until last month: "While the markets remain challenging, we did see the first signs of stabilisation. However, the situation is bound to change as a result of the drought affecting almost all European countries and the consequent drop in crop yields. Our mission is to continue supporting our customers by investing in innovation, digitisation and new products and services. This provides the basis for ensuring that we continue to grow in the future."
