Pöttinger was at AGROSALON in Moscow
Large exhibition in largest country in the world
Pöttinger highlights its international strength by participating at trade fairs in countries far and wide. With its subsidiary in Russia the Austrian agricultural machinery manufacturer is well set for facing the challenges in Eastern Europe. Pöttinger was very well represented at AGROSALON in Moscow from 10 to 13 October 2012, which had a record number of exhibitors this year. This trade fair, which takes place every two years, focuses on innovative machinery technology.
The Russian Federation covers more than 17 million square kilometres. 13 % of which is agricultural land, which adds up to 219 million hectares. Pöttinger would like to have its machinery in action on the largest possible share of this area, of course. That's why Pöttinger exhibited again in 2012 - with a larger stand than ever before - at AGROSALON in Moscow.
It wasn't just the size of the stand at 352 sqm but also its location right at the entrance to the trade fair that brought the Pöttinger trade fair team into contact with so many customers and dealers. For four days between 10 and 13 October 2012 we presented a wide selection of our agricultural machinery: the mower combination NOVACAT X8 RC and NOVACAT 301 alpha-motion RC, the VITASEM 402 mechanical seed drill, the TERRASEM C6 pneumatic seed drill, the JUMBO 7210 combiline loader wagon and the SERVO 35S, 5-furrow plough.

Both our products and the Pöttinger brand appeared to go down very well in Moscow. More dealers than before now know about our subsidiary in the vicinity of the Russian capital.
A pleasing result is that several dealers placed orders immediately after the show for machines to be delivered in time for the next season in spring 2013.
