Following the completion of a recent €10 Million investment in production capacity expansion and automation, a group of PÖTTINGER dealers from the UK recently visited PÖTTINGER Bernburg, Germany for an intensive seed drill product training course.
A full range of mounted and trailed seed drill systems are produced from this long established production site in Northern Germany.
Recent investments have seen the creation of a further 5,000 m² of production area, dedicated product assembly lines and robotised welding of hoppers. These developments add to the existing on-site powder coat painting of components and in house Quality Standards team ensure every PÖTTINGER seed drill leaves the assembly line ready for the farm.
Those attending were representing PÖTTINGER dealers from all over the UK and received the latest updates and in depth detailed training on the complete seed drill range offered by PÖTTINGER.
The theoretical sessions were accompanied by hands on training, detailing calibration and correct machine installation across the full PÖTTINGER range.
