A BOSS loader wagon in action at the airport
On the Ivory Coast in Africa they rely on harvesting technology from Austria
In July 2016 the first BOSS JUNIOR 22 T left the PÖTTINGER plant in Grieskirchen, to start its work at Abidjan airport on the Ivory Coast.
The customer is very satisfied with the machine and now wants to expand their fleet with more grassland equipment from Austria in order to provide optimum ground care at the airport. The next machines are likely to be a rake and a mower.
Agriculture is the country's most important economic factor
The Ivory Coast is in West Africa and exports mainly cacao and coffee. Farming is still the country's dominant economic industry in which three quarters of the population are actively involved. Other important agricultural products are palm oil, coconuts, cotton, rubber, sugar cane and cola nuts.
